JOB SUMMARY
As one of the fastest growing firms in the energy waste reduction movement, SEEL (Solutions for Energy Efficient Logistics) provides wholistic residential and commercial program management solutions for utility and municipal clients throughout the country. We are looking for a Sr. Vice President to support our growing organization.  
 
A Senior Vice President is a professional who oversees internal operations, helps build strong customer relationships and maximizes the company’s operating performance. They also work toward achieving financial goals by helping their team reach its full potential in every way possible.
As a SVP of our team, you join an esteemed group of sustainable professionals poised to make a difference in addressing climate change.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various aspects of operational activities within an organization, leading the strategic growth of the organization and giving guidance to our engineering and modeling teams. As a critical role in the organization, the SVP will lead the executive team in developing and implementing the overall operational strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and goals for continued growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily operations and assure metric attainment within all operations
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency in processes related to energy exploration, production, distribution, or services 
  • Support the sales and RFP process (operational aspect) for new business 
  • Manage a cross functional team of operations, strategy and engineering professionals
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure that the company's operations adhere to all applicable laws and standards.
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies to minimize risks associated with regulatory changes
  • Implement and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
  • Ensure that operations are conducted in compliance with HSE regulations to protect employees, the community, and the environment
  • Implement quality assurance programs to meet industry standards and customer expectations and ensure the reliability and integrity of operations
  • Develop and manage operational budgets to control costs and maximize profitability
  • Implement cost-effective measures without compromising safety, quality, or regulatory compliance
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies and innovations to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness
  • Represent the company in industry forums and associations to promote a positive image and influence industry trends
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the operations department
  • Develop and implement crisis management plans to respond effectively to emergencies or unexpected disruptions in operations
  •  Participate in leadership team initiatives as a member of MCL JASCO Executive Leadership Team
  • Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree in engineering, business or related field.  Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field accepted with at least 15 years of experience.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Energy Manager or Certified Project Manager preferred
  • At least ten years of experience in operations management within the energy industry leadership role function of a mid-sized company 
  • Strong understanding of energy industry regulations, market trends, and emerging technologies
  • Thorough understanding of and personal involvement with systems and methodologies of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and electrification
  • Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire and drive organizational success
  • Ability to make strategic decisions in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Experience mentoring and coaching employees of various levels
  • Experience interacting with diverse groups of individuals
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to travel 25%-40%
  • Ability to successfully complete vetting process
