Job Summary:
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's accounting operations and financial reporting. Reporting to the [Senior Accounting/Finance] leadership, you will be responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accurate and timely financial records, and providing strategic insights to support the organization's decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the accounting team, including staff accountants, cost accountants, and financial support personnel
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Coordinate the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or Controller role
- Proven track record of managing and leading an accounting team
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Working Conditions:
This is an office-based, administrative role with standard working hours and conditions. The position may occasionally require overtime or weekend work during peak reporting periods.

Compensation and Benefits:
MCLJASCO - MCL offers a competitive compensation package, including a target pay rate of $85K annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
