JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a qualified Automotive Plant Quality Manager, to lead the quality inspection and containment operations, including directing the work of shift supervision and operations staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of quality containment operations, including daily operations, customer/client satisfaction, cost control, account billing, and resource management. Develop new and existing customer relationships.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive customer satisfaction through regular customer interaction and provide timely feedback using customer satisfaction program
  • Meet or exceed all customer production, quality, and delivery time expectations
  • Track and report customer satisfaction key performance indicators to senior management
  • Develop, track, and report customer satisfaction improvement initiatives to senior management based on key performance indicators
  • Problem solve customer complaints using 8 Disciplines methodology
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer reports
  • Manage active projects for compliance with all applicable client and company requirements
  • Maintain compliance with all ISO 9001 quality management system requirements
  • Create and maintain key performance indicators supporting project team performance
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve KPI trends
  • Obtain and submit client billing information in a timely manner
  • Manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of all outstanding balances
  • Ensure project tools, equipment, and supplies are available and in good working condition
  • Ensure Accounts Manager, Supervisors and all operations staff are trained and competent to perform their job responsibilities
  • Manage project and operations costs and actively seek out ways to reduce project and operations costs
  • Manage compliance with all safety and ergonomic policies and procedures
  • Drive safety and ergonomics initiative
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in business or technical discipline (PREFERRED)  
  • Proven ability to develop processes and procedures that align with contract requirements and improve overall operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated team building skills
  • Strong verbal, written and active listening communication skills
  • Available to work on multiple shifts
  • Travel to project locations, as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate weights of 10 - 50 pounds for extended periods of time
  • Hand/eye coordination with arm/hand/finger dexterity including the ability to grasp with visual acuity
  • All other duties, as assigned
  • Able to pass drug screen and criminal background check
