We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment. Your expertise in materials handling and heavy equipment operation will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center.
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment according to safety guidelines
- Perform pre-operational checks on cranes to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Safely secure loads using appropriate rigging techniques
- Communicate with team members to coordinate lifting operations
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety protocols
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices
- Experience operating a variety of cranes, including Hi-Lo and Clamp trucks
