JOB SUMMARY
MCL JASCO is looking for a qualified Salesperson to join our team. The Salesperson will be responsible for continuing and developing long-term relationships with key customers, overseeing sales and serving as the MCI (Motor City International) Purchasing agent for MCI procurement.  MCI is a premier supply chain management material supplier that supports Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) systems for major corporations in North America.
The MCI Salesperson will work to satisfy customer needs and requests while ensuring the timely and successful delivery of commodities according to company standards, customer requirements and objectives.  Ultimately, the Salesperson is responsible for continued growth of the business by cultivating and maintaining successful long-term client relationships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Develop and maintain trusted and positive relationships with clients
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and networking events on behalf of MCI and travel as required 
  • Monitor and analyze customer's usage of products
  • Identify new business opportunities 
  • Forecast and track key account metrics and targets aligned with company objectives
  • Report on metrics and status of account transactions to Executive team monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
  • 1-3- years of proven sales experience 
  • Experience working in Energy or with Utilities, preferably
  • Experience in delivering daily successful client-focused sales and customer service
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external management at executive level
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and MRO Operations 
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time with strict attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with customers outside of normal business hours as needed 
  • excellent listening, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills  
  • Critical thinker with problem solving skills
