Job Description

As one of the fastest growing firms in energy management, SEEL (Solutions for Energy Efficient Logistics), LLC provides wholistic residential and commercial program management solutions for utility and municipal clients throughout the country. We are looking for an innovative Senior Marketing Manager to develop and execute our corporate and programmatic marketing strategies. In this role, you will be creating and managing budgets, ideating, and implementing marketing campaigns, overseeing market research, and collaborating with other departments within the company and external partners.

A major function of the Senior Marketing Manager is to develop and execute successful plans and campaigns that will achieve the organization’s desired results. They are also responsible for creating brand awareness, driving customer acquisition and retention, and increasing sales.  This can include creating and managing budgets, ideating, and implementing campaigns, overseeing market research, and collaborating with various departments within the company like sales or IT.

Duties and responsibilities:
•    Developing annual marketing strategies and plans
•    Work closely with the marketing team and sales to create advertising campaigns and promotions.
•    Creating or executing promotional campaigns
•    Managing the marketing budget
•    Overseeing marketing team members responsible for various segments or projects (e.g., content, search engine optimization, advertising, email, branding, PR, social media)
•    Project management, coordinate the projects from the beginning to the end of the project.
•    Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations governing marketing efforts (e.g. SPAM, GDPR, private customer information)
•    Develop a long-term plan for the development of the organization’s brand.
•    Oversees the brand marketing campaigns once implemented.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They need to develop effective marketing campaigns and create content that is both engaging and informative.
•    Strategic thinking and leadership to develop new ways to reach consumers and grow the business.
•    Knowledge about current market trends.
•    Attending meetings, marketing events, and conferences.
•    How to leverage social media, search engine optimization, and other tactics to promote a company’s products or services.
•    Work well under pressure, flexibility, and meet deadlines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•    Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Marketing, Communications, Business or related area, or equivalent education and work experience.
•    Proven successful track record in motivated marketing and outreach efforts.
•    Proven ability to effectively plan, direct, organize and administer diverse activities to ensure effective delivery of work programs.
•    Ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks, from program planning to client meetings.
•    Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle a variety of activities concurrently, and an innovative and open-minded approach to all aspects of work.
•    Ability to anticipate challenges, plan for solutions, and work within existing structures to overcome barriers.
•    Ability to work in cross-functional and matrix-managed teams.
•    Solid project management skills.
•    Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications. Familiarity with Workfront a plus.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to travel as needed.
•    Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    3-5 years marketing/outreach/communications or related business experience.
•    Management experience.
•    Knowledge of the energy industry.
