Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Field Coordinator will lead the daily activity assigned to Energy Educators for the PSE&G Whole Home Energy Assessment (WHEA) Program. They will ensure high quality customer satisfaction is delivered on behalf of the client.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Distribute and review daily schedules: confirming customer names, addresses, routes, and alternative visits.
  • Ensure all scheduled appointments are fulfilled by tracking in real-time progress for all visits.
  • Make sure the Team has all tools and equipment needed to properly perform the home assessments.
  • Measure and monitor program quality assurance and time management of all assigned crews daily. 
  • Handle all assigned customer complaints related to field activities. 
  • Coach, advise, and mentor crews where appropriate. 
  • Monitor and order inventory for field operations as needed. 
  • Ensure the Educators enter all relevant data and submit documentation on the day of their visits.
  • Review data daily for accuracy, especially data concerning time spent by the Educators. 
  • Monitor employee scheduling and attendance, ensuring installation goals are met. 
  • Making sure the Educators and vehicles are properly insured, up to date on emissions requirements, DOT requirements are satisfied, and the maintenance of the vehicle. 
  • Work as a consultant as needed. 
  • Performs related work as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 
  • Two (2) years prior supervisory experience 
  • Able to work in very fast-paced environment and hold to deadlines.
  • Problem-solver. Able to respond to diverse set of challenges in the field and do whatever it takes to meet project deliverables on schedule. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with subordinates, peers, supervision, and customers 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point) 
  • Able to use mobile devices including laptop computers, notebooks, and PDA’s.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) 
  • Prior experience in energy efficiency, weatherization, utilities, or home‑repair programs
  • Knowledge of residential energy audits, inspections, or building‑science basics.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
  • Experience working with low‑income communities or environmental justice populations.

The Customer Relation Specialist will maintain a positive attitude along with providing clear communications as well as knowledge of the programs, which provides each customer with the ultimate customer service experience.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
1.       Inform customers of the Energy Efficiency program requirements and offerings 
2.       Verify customer eligibility  
3.       Manage inbound and outbound calls to schedule appointments via the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application 
 4.       Log all customer calls in the CRM application and update the application with modifications or changes (i.e., appointments, reschedules, cancellations, and customer incidents) and present status of all current and prospective customers 
 5.       Meet the established weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for enrollments, scheduled appointments, and related program goals 
 6.       Ensure that an excellent customer service experience is consistently delivered with every customer 
 7.       Identify, research, and resolve customer issues, and escalate unresolved issues as needed 
 8.       Effectively and confidentially communicate with customers including written email correspondence 
 9.       Accurately maintain, update, and secure all call center, customer contact, and data records 
 10.   Monitor, record and report key program outcomes on a regular basis
 11.   Recommend process improvements
 12.   Perform related work as required
 
Minimum Requirements
 
·         High school diploma or equivalent
          2-3 years customer service experience
          Effective communications skills (oral and written)
 ·        Highly organized and excellent time management skills
         Ability to understand and retain basic customer information
         Accurate typing and data entry skills
 ·       Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Outlook,Teams, Word, Excel
 ·       Ability to handle challenging customer situations with poise and professionalism
 ·       Able to meet pre-employment requirements for background check and drug testing.

Seeking a qualified Energy Assessor to conduct daily energy audits on residential properties in line with all program requirements and under the direction of the Field Coordinator.  ASHRAE building audits require blower-door testing, Combustion Appliance Zone testing, in-depth data collection, interface with multiple databases, installation of energy saving devices, customer energy-savings education, and ensuring that high-quality customer satisfaction is delivered.
 

Duties of the Energy Assessor
  • Work independently to conduct residential energy audits utilizing mobile weatherization software. This includes travel to the customer homes, educating the customer, completing paperwork, and using a handheld tablet to input energy saving measures, performing a comprehensive audit including blower-door, recommendations, and interface with multiple databases.
  • The individual will also maintain accurate supply inventory on a daily basis.
  •  Communicate project goals and convey a positive image of project partners.
  • Perform residential energy audits and record findings and download/upload the required forms and documents.
  • Teach customers how to perform simple low and no-cost energy conservation measures, such as sealing air leaks and changing furnace filters. 
  • Provide customer education that influences additional energy savings and behavioral changes, including but not limited to: referral to other service programs and engaging customers in the creation of action plans, which detail the steps they should take to save energy and reduce costs.
Qualifications of the Energy Assessor
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BPI Analyst certification (Required)
  • Knowledge and understanding of residential energy audits and the direct install measures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exercise good judgment and maintains safety at all times
  • Able to lead, motivate, be diplomatic, and build a positive rapport with customers
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Comfortable working in an urban and rural setting with people of diverse backgrounds

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including some later evenings and weekends as needed
